Mohammed Siraj is an Indian cricketer who plays as a right-arm fast bowler for the Indian national team and the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was born on March 13, 1994 in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
Siraj began his cricketing journey at a young age, playing for various local teams in Hyderabad. He was soon spotted by the Hyderabad Cricket Association and was selected to play for the state team in the Under-23 category. He made his debut for the Hyderabad team in the 2015-2016 season and quickly established himself as a force to be reckoned with, impressing with his pace and swing.
In 2016, Siraj was picked up by the Sunrisers Hyderabad team in the IPL. He made his debut for the team in the 2016 season and impressed with his performances, picking up 8 wickets in 8 matches. He continued to play for the Sunrisers Hyderabad team in the 2017 and 2018 seasons, before being bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2019 IPL auction.

In November 2020, he was included in India's squad for the Australia tour , and in the Boxing day test match, he took 5 wickets in the first innings and became the first Indian pacer to take 5-wicket haul in Australia since 2007. He continued his good form in the series, taking 13 wickets in the 4 test matches, which helped India to win the series 2-1.
In January 2021, Siraj was included in India's Test squad for the England tour. He made his debut in the first Test match in Chennai and took 2 wickets in the match. He was consistent throughout the series and took 13 wickets in the 4-match series, which India won 3-1.
Siraj's performances in the Test series against England earned him a spot in India's squad for the 2021 ICC World Test Championship final against New Zealand, which India won by 2-1. His spell of 4-0-26-2 in the final match of the series helped India to win the match by 3 wickets and the series by 2-1.
