Cricket World Cup 2023 | Schedule | Venues | The 2023 Cricket World Cup

The 2023 Cricket World Cup is scheduled to be the 13th edition of the Cricket World Cup, scheduled to be played in India. The tournament is organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and is scheduled to take place between 9 February and 26 March 2023.

The tournament will feature 10 teams, with the top eight teams from the ICC ODI Team Rankings as of 30 September 2022 qualifying automatically, and the remaining two teams will be decided by a Qualifier tournament.

The tournament will be played in a round-robin format, with each team playing the other nine teams once. The top four teams will progress to the semi-finals, with the winners of the semi-finals then competing in the final to determine the champion.

The venues for the tournament have not been officially announced yet, but it is expected that the tournament will be played across multiple venues in India. It will be the fifth time that India has hosted the Cricket World Cup, having previously done so in 1987, 1996, 2011, and 2016.

The 2023 Cricket World Cup will be the last tournament to be played in the current format, as the ICC plans to reduce the number of teams in future editions of the tournament. The 2027 Cricket World Cup is expected to feature only eight teams, with the remaining teams having to qualify through a Qualifier tournament.

The 2023 Cricket World Cup will be a highly anticipated event, as it will feature some of the best teams in the world competing against each other for the title of world champion. With India as the host nation and their recent performances, they are considered as one of the favorites to win the tournament.

It will be interesting to see how the teams fare in the tournament and who will come out on top as the champion of the 2023 Cricket World Cup.
